Smart software for better quality in healthcare.Infoland is now located on the fifth and sixth floor of the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, in building Lucis One (HTC 91), since 2 December. Before the move, Infoland (the creator of Zenya software) was located at business park De Run in Veldhoven for more than 20 years. Last year, Infoland started looking for a new, sustainable location that offered more space for a growing company.
On Monday 2 December, all employees moved into the new office building at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven (HTCE) – more than a month earlier than initially planned. The company’s first location was at Ekkersrijt, where it started by renting one floor. Soon, that location became too tight and Infoland rented the entire building. As growth continued, all colleagues moved in 2003 to business park De Run in Veldhoven, where Infoland remained until November 2024. But even though the Veldhoven location was chosen ‘for growth’ at the time – by 2022, it turned out that the premises had become far too small.
So it was time for a new location! And no location in the region seemed more suitable for an innovative software company than the HTCE. For years, Infoland has been actively collaborating with several companies in the Brainport region and Fontys Hogeschool ICT (FHICT) on practical ICT research projects. This collaborative spirit is one of the reasons why the High Tech Campus seemed to be the suitable location for us. But sustainability, sufficient parking space and good accessibility also played a part in the choice of HTCE.
Hilbert Leijen (CTO) says: “We started looking for a sustainable location (early in 2023) that offered more space for a growing company. It had to be an inspiring, vibrant location – a place where employees, customers and partners enjoy coming. And we found that place at the High Tech Campus! Lucis One meets all our requirements and offers an important bonus in the form of the innovation ecosystem. At the HTCE, we can not only work with our own team, but also easily connect with other innovative companies.”
By moving to the HTCE, we are taking the next step in terms of sustainability and significantly reducing the climate impact on our housing. Marieke Kessels (CEO): “Besides Lucis One’s A+++ label, the good accessibility by (shared) bikes and public transport, and the good charging facilities for our employees EV fleet also contribute to our decision. The move went smoothly and brings a lot of new energy to the organisation. We look forward to seeing how the green environment of the HTCE, the facilities on The Strip and the shared space in Lucis One will inspire our team in the way we meet, alternate concentration with collaboration and have fun together.”
